Another HID question. Super newb here.

What's up guys, I FINALLY around to this little project and a few other things today on the front end. I decided to try this Meguiare's kit from the local parts store. Came with everything but some tape. Think everything was about $35. Was very easy to do and did a great job I think! There are a few spots left over but they seem to be inside and not too noticeable unless you're looking closely.

I also added a front lip recently and did a Emblem overlay as well. The overlay is From ProStickers.com. it looks great not cheaply made and fit perfectly. You can customize them alot ( Chose colors of background and the color of the stars ) I went with carbon fiber back and WRB for the stars. Also just also had my windows tinted yesterday as well.

As I recall (since it's been about 6-7 years since I last had mine installed), the 8000k blue were hard to see with in the rain mostly. They also didn't light up the road the same way the stock xenon bulbs did, which is why I reverted back to the stock bulbs. In addition to the stock xenon bulbs, I'd recommend getting either the stock USDM WRX fog lights and bezels, or the JDM fog lights and bezels, with PIAA yellow fog light bulbs. The yellow made a huge difference! Mind you, I have the USDM version, and I'd imagine the larger JDM ones are an even more significant difference (with a pretty hefty dent in the wallet :lol: )! :tup:
