FS: '08 Sti Epic Engineering Springs

Bought from a member on another forum. Planned to put them on and opted for coilovers instead. I bought them for $150, I'd like to get that back out of them. They have 20-25k miles on them. Price: $150 + shipping

    clearing brembos

Not to steal his thread away but I'm looking at picking up a set of wheels for dirt cheap to run in the winter. I've searched like crazy too. They are 17x7.5 +42 offset. They are Drifz Jade wheels. I can't find any info if they'll clear the calipers or not. Any ideas?

    Removing bumper pieces

I got the fog light surrounds out and I looked on the inside of the bumper at the side air vents. It appears that these have been taken out before because there are only 2 clips when I'm pretty sure there are supposed to be three. Another thing is it looks like there is some sort of epoxy...

    Removing bumper pieces

Trying to take off the foglight surrounds and the side air vents to paint/plastidip black. But I'm not exactly sure how they come out. Do I need to pull the bumper or will both of these come off with the bumper still on the car?

    Satelitte Radio

Yeah I used the fm transmitter with my satelitte radio on my previous car. It is not bad around here as like you said we have only a handful of stations that actual pick up anything. So there are a ton of free stations to use an fm transmitter through. In my car there is an aux jack and an ipod...

    Satelitte Radio

It runs through the fm radio. Which I was under the impression was somewhat restricted by the FCC a few years back. But it seems like an easier way to get satelitte radio than dealing with the hassle of the module.

The way skydock works is like this. You plug your ipod touch or iphone into the dock and it plugs into the cigarette lighter. You have an antenna cord that runs to the outside of the vehicle. All you have to do is download the skydock app on your apple device and you are good to go. Its $50...

The skydock looks to be a simple and cost efficient method. It is only $49.99 for the dock itself. And all you have to do is run the antenna. I just need to figure something out, since I'm paying for the service and don't have it in the new car yet.

Thanks so much for this post it is very rare that you see a Mod take the time to welcome a person to a forum. And the fact that you say there are no stupid questions, most sites bash you for being a new member and not having a lot of experience with the car that you own. I try to search and read...
