    05 STI BUILD

It's also a really easy mod. I did it in the driveway with 4 jackstands. Make sure you have a large oil drain pan, because about half the trans fluid will come out when you remove the DS from the trans. I recommend draining and replacing all the trans fluid during this mod. Use either Subaru...

    05 STI BUILD

I definitely suggest a carbon fiber driveshaft. I got the Driveshaft Shop 1-piece Carbon Fiber driveshaft. They are usually $1,099-1,199 but you can sometimes find them on sale for ~$899-999. Jordan at @DefinedPerformance should be able to hook you up. Not only is it about 1/2 weight of the...

    05 STI BUILD

Yeah, I was about to ask what they actually do for you. I've heard of people replacing them on older WRX and 2.5RS models, but didn't think the STi required it. Of course that's just 3rd hand, as I have never done this myself.

Died while driving. No codes no start.

Then strip all the ancillaries off the old block to be cleaned up and reused on the new one, and sell the old bare block for a couple hundred bucks to someone that wants to refresh and rebuilt it.

Those are pretty good numbers! You know what felt to me like a reeeeaal improvement at that power level was a 1-piece carbon fiber driveshaft. They can be a little expensive, but they do seem to go on sale periodically. 5-7k rpms in first and second just screamed past and acceleration was...

Died while driving. No codes no start.

Damn. Sorry to hear this. Did the heads or valvetrain get damaged at all? If not, I'd suggest considering an IAG shortblock, or similar.

    The Golf Shop

This one looks like it must be new, based on the price. :cautious: https://www.intheholegolf.com/AG-ITV3HIS/Adams-Idea-Tech-V3-Hybrid-Iron-Set.html#:~:text=SPECS%3A%20Adams%20Idea%20Tech%20V3%20Hybrid%20Iron%20Set,%20%2037.5%22%20%204%20more%20rows%20

    The Golf Shop

Here's one, though it may be a little vague. I've been playing since I was probably 6-7 years old. My current set is a 1989 Wilson 1200 Gear Effect. I've been playing them for at least 20 years. They are in great shape and I hit them extremely well. That said, I know I'm way behind the...

    Boxerfest 2021

I would always be interested, but realistically I probably won't be able to make it for a few years. One day I'll get there!

OT: Count To A Million Game!

7905 - Sounds good to me. I think you should still have my cell phone number. I'm taking a couple hours off work today to go play some golf. Shoot me a text later on and I'll try to call you after the kids are in bed ~8:00pm. If that doesn't work out, we'll try again tomorrow.

Round 2: My 2015 Galaxy Blue Journal

I do believe reflective tape works, but is best used in conjunction with other heat-control measures, such as exhaust wrap, heat shields, turbo blankets, etc. I still use my factory turbo heat shield, but had to trim it with an angle grinder to get it to fit over my larger turbo. Header and...

7897 - For sure man. That would be great. Speaking of activity... Over the next few weekends, I'm going to get working on the garage and preparing my workspace. Then I should be able to restart the work on the Batmobile. So hopefully I'll have a some regular updates to post and maybe that'll...

    Got a 2005 STi Widebody

If I'm reading it correctly, I think he means it has a FMIC...and had a MBC but removed it.
