    P0037 p.i.t.a

Good info. It appears the connections and wiring is sound. The sensor could be bad. Anyone know if an 2002 wrx o2 sensor will work on a 05 STi, I could swap that easy, otherwise I am in the market for a new sensor.

    STI vs EVO?

Evo's are eaiser to do basic maintenance on. I am fortunate to have both and 03 EVO and a 05 STi. Both are fun to drive. But the wife drives the EVO, cause I am a Suby man.

    P0037 p.i.t.a

Thanks guys. Cobb sent me the link so I have the AccessTuner. I am going to give that a try. Even after I study my ass off on fourms and books, I feel like such a noob sometimes. Guess thats part of the experience, the learning curve of your passion.

    P0037 p.i.t.a

Just installed my Cobb AP Stage 2 ACN 91 map on my 2005 STi and I am getting this P0037 Heater bank blah blah blah code. Never had this code before, unitl I reflashed. I checked and cleaned the rear O2 sensor and it looks fine. Now I get the code after a few moments after starting. I can...

P2096 CEL Post catalyst fuel trim system too lean (Bank 1)

***UPDATE*** So I have been driving the car for a few weeks with the mechanical fix in place and no CEL thus far. I am going to still get an cobb ap to tune for the exhaust, but this seems to be getting me through for now with no CEL's

    Defined Performance FTW

So its Labor Day and no one in the business world answers phones, EXCEPT Defined Performance. Jordan took great care of me, was a pleaseure to talk with, saved me some money, and I am glad I gave them a call. You would be doing yourself a favor to give them a call, and do business from one car...

P2096 CEL Post catalyst fuel trim system too lean (Bank 1)

Thanks Vermont. There is no hesitation or stumbling, the car runs like a champ. I also believe that its the catless exhaust causing the problem. I just didn't want to "assume" anything before checking with the panel of experts. P.S. If anyone comes across a Cobb AP for an 05' STi for a smokin...

P2096 CEL Post catalyst fuel trim system too lean (Bank 1)

Thanks for all the feedback, the gutted air box meant that I removed the snorkel and silencing material out of the fender well. Not an uncommon mod for subaru's. The MAF is still in oem placement. I do not have a cobb ap for this car . Would that help resolve this issue? I was guessing more...

P2096 CEL Post catalyst fuel trim system too lean (Bank 1)

I keep throwing this code. I hate CEL lights. I have a APS turbo back exhaust on the car and a gutted stock intake box. This CEL will pop about every three days then I clear it via negative cable removal from the battery. Its very annyoing to carry around a 10 mm wrench. I tried the...
