That's exactly it! I wonder if there's a Perrin rep around somewhere that can explain this. I suggest using some heat wrap in between the exhaust and the clamp to keep the metals from expanding from each other or take to a muffler shop and weld it together. I guess its not a "huge" deal, but I... -

Basically, where the mufflers connect to the rest of the exhaust, there's a section that does not connect with bolts. One section slides right into the other. Then, a clamp goes around that and is tightened to seal it. What became an issue was the changes in temperature. The metals naturally... -

That's what I'm thinking also. Almost the whole interior was stripped out, but there wasn't a roll cage. When I paused the video to see what's under the hood I didn't see a front strut bar either. I guess that's not needed to break records or something... -

lol. For having [again] changed the look of the STi, addressing some key weaknesses in the 2015 EJ25 engine would have been be well justified, IMO. I think a stoker EJ25 in the stock STi would bring the badge name STi new respect, but I digress. Over boosting issue resolved :tup: :tup: -

What I realized is that the metal clamps to metal exhaust expanded and contracted with temperature changes. This was especially annoying when I was far from home until I used heat wrap in between the clamp and the pipe. It is a great exhaust though! -
