What has happened to the Subaru Community?

Nah man.. this is just human nature. People can't live with what they have.. they have to be in everyone else's business, too. Blame the politically correct crowd for convincing people that "your" way is the only way, and everyone else is evil and needs to be vilified for daring to have a...

Subaru STi makes 528whp/436wtq on pump gas.

She should hit over 600whp on E85. Scott and I are going to install the Moroso AOS/Catch Can this weekend, and I go back up to tune on that as well sometime after. :) She's running like a champ, and sounds better than ever! I'll go update my Garage page real fast. lol.. PRS here in Sanford built...

    WRX Manifold on a STi

Gotcha.. I'm shooting for mid 500's with this new build, and I have someone really trying to push me into it, saying 20+ hp gains, and I've got people who have dealt with these cars for a good, long while saying 5 whp at most where I'm at. Not trying to spend money on something with minimal...

    WRX Manifold on a STi

Thank you for the info. At what hp range does the NA intake manifold actually become relevant? High horsepower is a relative term to most folks. lol

    WRX Manifold on a STi

I've had a couple folks tell me that high horsepower STi's are using the 07 WRX manifolds because they flow better and are able to squeeze more hp out. Has anyone heard of this, because what little I've been able to find on the subject is that for most builds, it offers not a whole lot in gain...

    What's up everyone

Welcome in, and glad to see folks have some insight for you on that. I went the opposite direction. Engine work first, then I'll get to suspension afterward. That whole stiffness thing is a whole other animal for me. You're in good hands with these guys, though! :)

Looking for boost gauges for this monster build...

Yeah, I have PLX for wideband and the center graph display went out on it after a couple years, so I figured I'd look at something a little sturdier, hopefully, and keep them all the same. The way the airbag is set up in the 08+ A pillar, only a small part of the pillar comes away, making a...

Can you go longer than 4k without changing an STi oil? I thought it got clogged in the banjo bolt filter or something like that

My tuner said he would personally beat my ass if I ran anything in it besides Amsoil 5w40 Euro blend after all the work being done to it. lol. Not entirely sure what the difference is between that and the Dominator, but he's tuned enough high performance cars, up to and including lambos that...
