What do you guys think of the new 11 STi? I'm heading over to drive one but could never get rid of my 04 cause that is what started IGOTASTi. It's weird cause the 04 started it all for us and that was the first year for the US version and it was the car I bought that made me want to do IGOTASTi. Well has anyone drove one yet?

i loved the '11 but i cant give up my hatch

I had a love/hate relationship with the hatch. Now that the sedan came out it reminds me way to much of a Saturn on steroids. Now I only love the hatch... well, that and any GD.

I love the 2011's. Such an improvement over the 08-10 models. The hatch made me want to hit myself in the balls over and over until I was blind but once the new 11s came out a switch in my head clicked and said "Hey these aren't too bad now."

While I'd never get a 08-10 I would deff jump on a 11 limited sedan in Plasma Blue Pearl.

I like that they gave the wing a more slick look to it. It has curves now and isn't just a box screwed to the trunk like the old wings.

The body styling isn't the best for me though. I see no option or way to put fog light covers on. They took out the option for gold BBS. And there is no roof vain.

I'd buy one if I had the cash but it would definitely need some 'tweaking'

I love my hatch. It has not dissapointed me yet. Love the looks, versatility, and it is fast. I am not a big fan of the new sedan, the front looks great but the rear end is just meh.

Here's my 2011. . . I absolutely love it. And the reaction from everyone in person is overwhelming. I've had it for about 2 months now. And have about 5k miles. The new suspension makes a world of difference too.

completely stock (as in no cobb ap stage 1 flash to help it from the anemic and not so good stock tune?)?

although im in NO financial shape to get one at the moment (or even bother with an 06-07 sti which came to mind) due to debts (DAMN YOU capital one best buy, small loan etc....end of rant lol) and such. im working on getting my credit score into the high 600's before i make my big purchase anytime soon. but sweet lord do i want one of these in the worst way. with fogs, sunroof, maybe navi, all the creature comforts minus the leather, they can keep the BBS wheels too, they'd just get replaced with something WIDE anyways.

i read that both subie/mitsu pulled them from rally to focus more on road going safety and comfort for both cars. which explains why both cars are larger than before and feature serious safety improvements from earlier years (especially with the X's which are pigs)

i still say, if you want the purest form of either car, get the Evo V-VI, or the 22B STi coupe or even the Version 8 STi (which was the bugeye version we never got here in 02'). if the Version 8 was available here i guarantee there'd be A LOT more of those on the road today.
