Best way to wash a car (especially wheels) without a hose?

In my new living situation i dont have easy access to a hose. What's the best way to keep my car clean? It's got a crapload of birdpoo on it (pun intended) and the wheels are filthy.

Especially with the wheels, I'm used to being able to really spray those suckers down to get all the cleaner and dust off.

Coin op car wash. The ones that you wash yourself.
Meguires quick detailer. For between washes... Light dirt
Two buckets of water for the wheels. One clean rinse water and the other for soap. Scrub them down and then splash the clean water for rinse.

You can hook a hose up to your facet like your kitchen facet.

To the above, you can hook up a hose to your clothes washer hook up. The fitting is the correct size. Hook a "y" up to the connection that way you won't have to keep unhooking the washer when you want the hose.
