I've had my sti now for just over a year and put about 14000km on her. One thing that still bothers me is startup smoke. Every now and then when I start her up there is a bigish puff of white/blue smoke and then its gone.
I've had a friend drive behind me and there were no issues when driving, I've even driven behind my own car and checked.
Is this a normal thing on the boxer motors?
The motor has been built with Manly pistons and the car has a few other mods namely, TGV deletes, turbo inlet hose with AFTA MAF pipe, custom turbo back straight pipe with hks muffler at the end, and it has a oil catch can installed with the larger vent pipes from the head blocked off
Car is running on 10w60 oil.
