Hey Guys--

I'm new to the STI family, as I just got my current STI last October. My name is Marty, and I'm from Central PA near State College and Altoona.

Ever since 2006, I have always wanted an STI after going to deals gap NC and looking at an then new 2005 stealth STI, but could never pulled the trigger. Last fall, a guy from New York City was selling his famous Wineberry STI. His screen name was Kir Diesel. He was selling his car that he invested tons of money and time to take a job within his current company in Germany. He was heavily into car shows and has won many events.

I picked up the car in Mid-October, and it stayed in my garage because of the harsh winters we have until spring.

I happen to run into an old friend one day talking about cars, and he absolutely loves working on STIs as a hobby (he has an 03). Since I'm mechanically stupid, I took his offer and stopped by his house.

As of right now, the car is there getting a few internal upgrades and preventive maintainence items.

I dont have alot of pictures yet, but will add more once I get it back.

The color I like a lot! Sound like you got a steal of a deal man. Do you have intentions to track the car?

Yes...I got a steal on this car. He was against the wall trying to sell it since he was leaving the country in two weeks. The color really grabs your attention like you have no idea. Its a one of kind color!

I have not decided to track the car--I will probably say I will not, as I am also a sportbike enthusiast, and do trackdays on my R6.

Subaru should take note and make that a factory color on the new sti's. I usually hate aftermarket paint jobs, but that is just beautiful. Very classy for sure.
