Fellow Subaru lovers,

Just wanted to post an introduction of myself. For starters I don't have an STi but I do own a 2010 WRX. I am currently on active duty in the Marine Corps and live in PA.

My current mods are:
SPT dual exhaust
ERT 3" downpipe
SPT Short shifter w/ Ralley Pig shift knob
Perrin CAI
AccessPort with custom tunes
SPT front strut bar
Seibon Carbon Fiber hood
Sparco Harness bar
4-point harnesses
SPT Boost gauge
Prosport EGT gauge
Prosport Oil Temp gauge
Prosport Oil Pressure gauge
Custom fiberglassed gauge pod
Custom fiberglassed tweeter pods
Custom amp rack
Custom false wall trunk
Pioneer AVH-P4200DVD w/ Navigation
Cadence FXC-6Ki front component set
Cadence ZRS-65 rear speakers
Cadence F400-4 mid/high amp
Cadence F500-1 sub amp
Cadence ZRS12-600-D4 Subwoofer
Blacked out interior with body matched trim
Custom radiator plate cover
Flat-black powdercoated 18" rims

I know its not a lot or nothing to really brag about, but I enjoy it. Up next is a complete suspension upgrade, STi TMIC, injectors, fuel pump, and new tune.

Here are a few pics of the car:

I love all the detail in he engine bay. I have to go back and take a look at mine now to see how I can improve the look of the hoses.

Welcome and check out the member's journals and feel free to start your own!

Nathan is a great guy. I'm from Butler, PA, and your WRX is sick. What did you use to make the engine bay look so good?

welcome to the site, the WRX looks really sharp. I hope to eventually get a vented carbon fiber hood for my STI.

I dig the hood, not the loom so much, but to each his own. I personally prefer to remain as incognito as possible to all but the untrained eye. Welcome to the forum!

Thanks to everyone. Like I said, I enjoy the wire loom to add a little pop to the engine bay. I attend a lot of car shows and this sets it apart from a lot of others.

First I use a non-citrus engine degreaser but the magic is in a product I use called CD2 Engine Detailer. Been using it for over 10 years now. It uses the heat of the engine to "bake" a layer of shiney protectant on it. Proof is in the pictures. Infact, the last time I touched the engine was at the Carlisle Show and Shine over 2 weeks ago. I took these pics 2 days ago. :) So you can tell that it last!

Oh BTW, if anyone wants anything made out of fiberglass (like the tweeter pods) let me know. Been making custom fiberglass products for about 15 years. Infact, I have actually sold the righst to 2 of my "creations" to a well known company out of California called Road Race Motorsports. I am willing to show anyone how to build and make pretty much anything for free. I am not like most fiberglass individuals who don't share their secrets. I have several "how-to" guides for several things if I am allowed to post them....

As of about 2 months ago I had to purchase it online. BUT, AutoZone now carries it for $6 a can. A can will do the entire engine bay 3 times.

PICS: Dont show the new KS Tech intake. During the pics I had the Perrin intake.
