You can clearly see the mini slows way down to let him pass and then just keeps his distance behind him, on that last corner paul progressively gets wider with each lap. Then at the end you can see the mini stops short shifting and catches up without even trying.

Pretty good video though.

At the end there, when he catches up with the M3, it looks like he might as well be passing a double decker bus it's so quick, unreal.

Yeah that mini is stupid fast, Light, short wheelbase, and ridiculous amount of power. The end is where you can tell he was babying the throttle because when he got on it he was gone.
