will a perrin turbo inlet from a 04-05 wrx work on a 08wrx?

No, I dont believe this will work. The vacuum ports that are in the inlet tube are in different locations and I believe these create fitment issues. The part number you need for the 08 is PSP-INT-421

Correct, you will need a different turbo inlet for a 08 wrx. Only the 04-11 STI shares a similar inlet as the 02-07 wrx. The 08 wrx shares some similiar parts with the 05-09 LGT, the inlet being one.

The reason I ask, is I have plans for some parts to manufacture and if the parts I am looking to make a better aftermarket part are still good I would def. be interested in these. I am willing to compensate for the help and I am not far from Dubois

the motor and tranny are still good, thats it. the car was basically wrapped around a pole. he was selling everything off the car last time I checked
