\Hi guys!
I'm new to the forums(obviously) but not new to the STi. Although I must admit, I feel like I am. I had my first 2005 STi when I was 20 and needless to say, I was stupid and wreckless with it. I eventually lost it in an accident which involved alcohol and my life kind of took a turn for the worst at that point.
Four years later, I graduated and I'm currently a Tech Analyst and Developer for a telecom giant. I always had a hole in my heart knowing that I lost my car b/c I made the wrong decisions. I totaled her that night and regretted it ever since. Recently, I set out to redeem myself and finally found another 2005 STi and snatched it up very quickly. I considered the newer models but after I test drove her, I knew I had no other choice.
I'm not completely clueless about the vehicle. I know alot of the basics and how to take care of her. She has close to 100K on her so I'm currently in the process of doing an overhaul of maintenance. I have some questions that I would like to ask you guys but that is for another section of the forums.
Anyways, I hope to be a contributing member to these forums and I look forward to growing the community!
About Selena: 2005 STi. About 100K miles on her. COBB DP AND GREDDY EVO2 EXHAUST.(Came with it) COBB radiator shroud. APS CAI.
She came with all those mods when I bought her so all I had to do was get the AP. I'm considering changing the exhaust b/c I ran a Cobb on my last car and I loved the throaty sound. The Evo2 isn't too bad but it is just so...big. I'm in the process of doing a massive maintenance and I would appreciate your input. The thread is here:
