Not the last year they made them which was 88. They finally got them right.

A girl I knew back '93ish had one. In the four or so years I was around her I only saw it a few times cuz it was always broke down. Don't remember what year it was. I just remember they were very unreliable and even a death trap. Something about them catching on fire?
JJ may be right but by the time they fixed all of the bugs nobody would even look at them.
Did a 500 mile autotrader search and came up with a handful for sale. One only had 20k miles and it was pristine. Guy wanted 14k for it!

This car in an 88 is awesome. Was just as fast as a 5.0 Mustang same year. I drove around a 88 GT red with gold wheels. No issues with it ever. The 84 got the bad rap from wire fire. You should google 89 Fiero Gt. they only had two. One never received an engine. Looks like a Trans AM.

I would love to own an 88 GT Formula with T-Tops. I had an 86 GT and loved every minute of it.

Let's just say to this day it would out handle most things on the road.
