Does any body know what that wire on the back of the power steering pump do? it plugs into the back and runs across the top with a quick disconnect right near the inlet for the pump.

I believe this is power steering oil pressure switch signal to the ECU

I'm not entirely sure. It is possible that when the pressure reaches a certain point the power steering reverts to a tighter feel. I know this is an output to the ecu so it is sensing, and not controlling. I have no idea what actual controls the speed sensitivity.
