GD Starting my 05 STi journal :)

Sooo last week, after owning the new subie for about 9 days, my GT30R turbo fried. I've decided to just completely build the engine. I hadn't planned on undertaking this task quite so soon but here we go??

All the parts & shortblock have been ordered. Things have changed some from my original plans, anyways here's the list:

STi Mod List

- Grimmspeed EBCS
- IAG stage 2 block
- IAG garret GT series turbo oil feed & avcs lines
- ETS STi full rotated kit upgrade w/ turbo manifold, up-pipe, downpipe, upper ic piping, intake, TiAL 44mm wastegate, garret gtx3076r .63 turbo (all V-Band)
- Cosworth high flow intake manifold
- AEM 320lph fuel pump

Gonna hold off on prepping for corn right now as this has gotten nearly out of hand and my wallet is on life support.

Pics will be added as parts arrive and work is being complete!! For now here is one to tide you over.

- AEM 3.5 bar MAP sensor
- AEM intake temp sensor
- Cosworth high flow intake manifold

- AutoMeter a-pillar triple gauge
- Innovate ethanol content percent gauge
- AEM oil pressure gauge
- AEM flex fuel sensor kit w/ IAG lines
- Aeromotive A1000 FPR

**only parts I'm waiting on is the ETS gtx3076r .82 rotated kit to show up

What's the estimated time frame to first start, and then final tune?

I'm hoping once he has all the parts... 2 weeks for the first start? Then I know he likes to do a 500 mile break in, so I'm hoping 4-5 weeks before we have her on the dyno putting down the final tune.

Finally it's done. Got around 1000 miles on the new motor so far and everything is running excellent. I'm gonna wait until the new motor hits around 3k miles before tuning on e85. It's tuned @ 23psi making 464awhp and 391awtq on 93 octane. This was done on a dyno jet, around 80 degrees outside.
