So I installed a DW 300 pump on my 07 STI. Following that my fuel gauge is no longer accurate and sits at half a Tank when I'm full. Any ideas? Is it possible for the floater to get stuck in one position and I need to open it back up and move it? Thanks.

Yeah, the floater can probably get pretty mangled in the removal/install process. You shouldnt have to remove the whole thing to assess its condition.
