Average prices that i have seen are:
Motor 2.5k
Tranny 2k
Dont know transfer case.

Someone always suggests a salvage company. It was either [MENTION=1507]Spamby[/MENTION] or [MENTION=652]Grinder34[/MENTION] i forget the name of the company but they have good prices on these items from slavaged cars

Good luck. Let us know what it is. I have never heard anyone swapping a wrx motor and drivetrain into an sti. It makes no sense! Get us some pictures if you can!

Just found out it used to have an sti motor but for some reason the first owner did a wrx swap and everything on it is from an sti except motor

So then just the motor was swapped. A hybrid then? Still why the hell would someone dump a wrx motor. Then it still has brembos, right?

$3500 with no motor would mean you would profit selling the parts off! :lol:

I say its a great deal if it only needs a motor. As long as nothing else was changed to the stock sti parts. :tup:

I would get a full detailed description of what they actually swapped. Otherwise it's still a wrx with a few STi parts

He didn't tell me it was I just thought it was I hadn't gone up to it only seen from distance and it's badge less so I just assumed it was when I asked he told me it was just wrx
