I'm looking for top feed and thanks for offering my friend. P.S. life is settling down so I'll do ish porting the turbo and reading the books then pass the books on to another member that lives near me.

Fuel rails and lines are the only things I need other then the GM IAT sensor, and radiator hoses to button up my build.

Things I'm looking for deals on are front sway bar and end links. A DEFI red boost gauge or AEM boost gauge.

Things I'm dreaming about are carbon fiber drive shaft, light weight front sub frame and fender braces for the future upgrades.

Are you bargain shopping for rails and lines or are you thinking of buying new? If you want to get AN fittings and lines for your lines I?d be more than happy to lend you a hand assembling them. Oh and I still have that Aeromotive FPR if you?re interested. Also, I?m willing to let go of my AEM analog boost gauge for a deal if you?re interested in that as well.

Did you already remove the OEM subframe?

I haven't since its going to be my daily driver and I don't want to compromise safety. I've thought about it many times but came to the conclusion a lightweight subframe is probably better then nothing when it comes to added safety even though no safety testing has been done on light weight subframes.

Frankly, if safety is your main concern I'd stick with OEM. It was designed to direct the motor in the event of a crash. Removing it will negate that. Adding something aftermarket, that's purposefully stiffer and has connections where the OEM didnt....well, it'll probably make things worse.

I got my over priced T and head fitting for the coolant mod on the passenger side head but I purchased it to help support the manufactures R&D. The machined fitting that goes in to head is nicely done though.

I also picked this beatrush differential brace up for $100 so I'm happy with this deal as well.

I originally purchased this for $70 on eBay expecting to purchase a reservoir cap but was ecstatic to see it came with one today after it was delivered.

Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
HolyCrapItsFast out of curiosity what do you think of this part George? I just saw IAG picked Dom up and is selling his coolant mod for him now so it probably will become main stream soon.

Counterfeit oil baffle sounds like a practical purchase. I feel like most of what you're paying for is the name brand. Unless its straight up iron or something and going to rust into the pan?

Well crap it's been a while since I've worked on my car due to my wife having our final baby and us purchasing a home. I've been continuing on collecting random parts for my build. Hopefully the next month or two I'll be making time to finally bring the sti out of hibernation.

The intake manifold plan has changed a bit I'm selling the shaved long runner na manifold and will be shaving the short runner na manifold I purchased so I can have more fuel rail options. A tuner I follow also made a valid point explaining that once you use the large phenolic spacers on the long runner manifold it positions the injectors where they no longer hit the back of the valves which can cause some idle and tuning issues. That statement actually makes complete sense so that was the main reason I switched manifold plan to the short runner.

This was one of my black Friday purchases which is the TSSFab transmission brace which replaces the old transmission brace but is stronger and about 6 pounds lighter.

I've been MIA for quite some time due to work and growing family but life has finally slowed down enough for me to start working on my project again. Update is I've finally towed the sti to my house where I'll be able to tinker a hell of allot more easier due to being able to just walk out my back door rather then having to drive to the garage it was stored at. Ofcourse I've been acquiring random parts over the time I've been MIA so lots of updates to come

Well that's 21 pounds off the tail end of the money pit. Overall the install went easy other then two of the nuts welded to the new brackets are welded kind of wonky not allowing a bolt on each side to go in properly. Time to go to the hardware store and purchase some slightly smaller in diameter but longer bolts so I can run them thru the existing holes while securing them with a nut and lock washer. Kind of bummed about the issue in quality control.
