New Member Introduction

Hey everyone!

Just bought a 2017 CWP STi and I will be picking it up within the next month. Wanted to introduce myself to the forum and say hello. This is my first STi so I am new to the Subaru community. I have wanted an STi since I was about 14 and now I have finally been able to buy one. Looking forward to future discussions on the forum. Cheers.:tard::tard::tard::tard::tard::tard::tard::tard::tard::tard:

I am definitely making the plate of my car something along that route. In the past I have had an 89 Cavalier, 01 Cavalier, 98 Civic, 1986 Firebird, 1998 Eclipse GSX Spyder, and I currently own an 09 Nissan Altima which works great as our family sedan. I sold the wife on the STi since it has four doors and I can fit the kids in the back.

I am on a few other forums so I decided to check this one out. I just recently found this one. Seems to be less noise and bs filling the forum pages on igotasti.

Over 9000!!! THAT'S IMPOSSIBLE!!

First mods bought for the STi. Dealer is installing the window tint and arm rest extension. I purchased the Kartboy STS and bushing kit along with weathertech floor mats for front/rear and the K&N air filter. Also, picked up an Escort Passport MAX with the Blendmount. The Radar detector and armrest are necessary for the long drives I am doing right after picking the car up.

Here's a reeeeaaallllllyyyyy old picture of my car:

I never got a DBZ vanity plate, but I plan to do so in the future. I've been rocking that plate frame on the front and rear for years now. Earlier this year, I even got one for my motorcycle!

Can't wait to see the ride once you get it, man!

Awesome plate cover and I always have loved the WRB color on these cars. I went with white because I have never had a white car. I have had black, red, blue, and gray. Time for a new color!

I just saw that you were online and that you haven't posted in a while... a long while!

So, after almost 4 years of ownership, what have you done to the car in regards to modifications? How many miles have you driven? Where have you traveled to with the car? Have you done any track days, autocross, or offroading?

What have you learned over these past 4 years? Is there anything about the car that you hate after all this time? Are there any small or simple aspects that people don't really talk about when it comes to these cars, and that you have learned to appreciate?

Give us some updates and post some recent pictures!

Hiya. I'm new to here and to the forum. My name is Lance. But you can call me Lancer. Everyone has for years. Anyways. I have a 2020 Subaru STI. The last of the EJ's.
At the moment I am doing support mods until I am able to slowly build the horsepower. So far I just have a CSF radiator, AWE Track Edition Cat Back exhaust and a
Grimmspeed down pipe. In a couple of weeks, I'll be upgrading the entire fuel system and add a flex fuel kit. After, I plan on starting on building a separate EJ engine. That way, if something goes wrong with the engine build, I can just put in my stock engine until I can fix the built engine. I'm not a fan of cosmetic mods. Not until the car is built mechanically. I'd feel awkward if my car looked fast, but couldn't get out of its own way. I'll post updates on my car's progress that way if you have any comments or
concerns, you can let me know. I realize that I'll be poked, prodded and hazed. That's how it goes when you're the noob.
