2015 WRX FA20 | 15,000Miles - Serpentine Belt Shredded

So recently I've noticed some weird thing occurring from shifting between 3rd and 4th gear. Very rarely and under what circumstances I'm unsure but the car feels like it wants to completely turn off.
After this occurred I checked under the hood , made sure oil levels were ok etc.
=-=
I recently did my oil change (change every 3,000) when I noticed my serpentine belt was completely shredded. I checked the surrounding area and do not see any signs of the belt catching/rubbing on something.
=-=
Having issues attaching photo atm.
Taking to dealer today.
Just odd for such low mileage to have issues with belt.
.

Has anyone else had this issue?

*PS I'm documenting all my urgent help experiences with this car so if this is the wrong part of the forum to post under please let me know.

Could have been just a bad belt. We've seen this before.

Bad batch of bullshit!

I didn't know they could flop on belts too... Which underwaged worker did this?!

We went to the dealer. They replaced the belt for free and gave some assumptions as to what it could have been. Looks like IGOTASTi hit the nail on the head.
