Fuel Rails, Parallel or Series?

Im looking for some input and discussion on parallel vs series fuel setups, pros and cons.

It seems like with a parallel setup, you run the risk of having unequal head losses each side and end up with 2 cylinders getting a little less fuel. But other than that, it seems like a better solution to me.

And the OEM series setup (from what i've gathered) is a very roundabout way of doing things, and seems like you might end up with less pressure on the last injector in high duty cycle situations.

But I'd like to hear from the experts!
