So my friend purchased my beloved STi from me and I will be maintaining it's progress for him here. He has some different visions for it in the near future including the Moore Performance AWIC Manifold. Ironically not more than a week after I sold him the car, it won "Best 04 Subaru" at Wicked Big Meet. He made some recent changes to its appearance since then and I will be posting that here soon. Stay posted for some updates.

DIY Electronic Projects

1) Boost Gauge w/barometric compensation (Completed, Installed)

2) Multi-Gauge Display (Completed, Installed)

3) Shift-light/Gear Indicator (Complete, Installed)

4) AWIC Monitor and Controller. This will display flow rate, AWIC efficiency and Energy flow through heat exchanger (Complete but not installed)

Boost Gauge...

Multi-Gauge Display...

Link to DIY project on 4D Systems forum... http://forum.4dsystems.com.au/forum...-systems-as-an-automotive-multi-gauge-display

This is my Multi Gauge project, I am making this because I don't want to clutter the interior with standard gauges. I would rather have everything in one, easy to read, display. The only thing this gauge will not have is a boost reading.

Updated Multi-Gauge design...

Shift light / Gear indicator...

And now here is my shiftlight/gear indicator project. This demonstrates the opening ceremony and the bezel for mounting it in any 52mm gauge location.

that thing is sexy.....damn never heard someone say he wants less HP xD

I know right? I'm old and that much power is bad for my back LOL.

I just want to try to keep it in good shape and reliable. 450 is not reliable power. Plus if it is there I will use it.

we'll see how long it take me to make this one... I have an obligation to make the boost gauges I promised first. I think I have a final rendition for that project.

Shoot I feel ya when it comes to the age thing! Arthritis in my feet and back and having to use my "old man" reading glasses when I go to restaurants just to see the menu and read labels in places like Lowe's is a tad bit embarrassing but oh well!

And I'm definitely going to keep my eye on your build as it doesn't follow traditional methods, which I do like and I respect.
