Underseat Subwoofer

I installed the Kicker 11HS8 Hideaway Subwoofer under my passenger seat and it makes all the difference in the sound of my stock speakers. I set the sub to hit everything from 150hz down and the door speakers to 150hz and up. Sounds great. I think it sound much better than the 10" you get in the trunk from Subaru and doesn't rattle the hell out of the car. Just thought I would share that in case any of you are looking to get a little more bass.

Good shit. I've done the same as well. Rockford Fosgate amp under my seat and a Rockford Fosgate 10" Punch - slim mount - in a custom box
under the passenger seat. It's sooooo much better than a box in the trunk.

We don't like the box in the trunk to be honest, but each his own. ;)

Because our cars make enough power to carry an extra 10 pounds.

How's that kicker hook up? Does it utilize RCA or line level inputs?

You connect RCA cables to the harness and change the input selector to low from high and your golden, but at first glance you would think it was high level input only

I took out the seat and center console. I also trimmed the ac ducts under the seat so that the sub was not sticking out past the seat rails. Overall the install took about an hour
