Re: The Official Food, Cooking & Gardening Thread

I had left over salmon from the sushi so I made pan fried salmon with roasted cauliflower and sauted spinach.

Look like a pro sushi chef :)
Thanks I'm still trying to perfect the sushi rice flavor though. I used rice vinegar, salt, and sugar in that attempt but am researching other options. I plan on doing tuna, salmon sushi with shrimp tempura rolls next time.

Just more of my favorite jalapeno, basil lemon cream sauce over spaghetti and chicken breast that were pounded out and fried.

First attempt at making a Vietnamese iced coffee. Was pretty tasty! Have to work on the ratios a little, but not bad for a first try.

An entire Lake Superior Smoked Whitefish from Michigan's Upper Peninsula. Flake some meat off onto Ritz crackers with cream cheese and a slice of Scotch Bonnet.

I buy them premade from an European store. If you do make your own from scratch, you better have pictures to show the process!

I'm sure I could, but I don't know if I'd get the seasonings correct. Recipes you find online for stuff like that aren't always so authentic.

Trial, error, and experimentation! One does NOT make/eat cevapi only once!
