i have the newer plastic stiffis on my car... and I just used the 3M tape that was supplied... no screws are needed. Remember to use the pre existing mounting holes on the underside of the top spoiler fin as guides for where to mount your stiffis. It works wonders when it comes to getting them exactly straight and even
