Thank you to all those who serve.

Just like the title says, thank you for your service.

I was in Afghanistan for 13 months as an IT contractor for General Dynamics, I met and worked with some of the nicest and most driven people ever while I was there. I got to experience a lot of the same things as those in the military and never felt like I wasn't part of many of the groups I came in contact with because of my contractor status. Unfortunately I was not able to join the military due to my medical background (seizure risks) but still wanted to serve in some capacity so I chose that route.

If you ever wondered what its like to drive in downtown Kabul, here is a video, its about 6 minutes, not an exciting video but its still kinda cool to just see what its like in the city.

I have others but they are on bases like this one here in Jalalabad Air Field. At this FOB I saw the biggest damn plane I have ever seen and the smallest drone that could be launched by hand, both used the same runway :)

Anyways, cant think about that stuff too much because honestly, I miss it. Those were some of the best and worst days of my life and I'm glad I got to experience every one of them.

I have worked with a lot of military personnel in the past as well and there are no other more driven people anywhere in the world.
