    Raising seat height, aftermarket

Although I like the idea of using poly because of it's nvh dampening, I don't really trust it's strength when using 2"s o it as a spacer. So I'm going to pick up 4 pieces of 15" long by 2" square aluminum box tubing. I'll use one under each slider. Should do the trick.

    Raising seat height, aftermarket

So I just installed a sparco r505 seat in my Sti, and it's wonderful. However, the drop in height is way too much for me. I can't barely see the hood now. I actually like the height of the stock ones, so... I'm considering having two pieces of angle iron welded together to form a box tube...

    Steering wheel vibration

So I've been having the symptoms of a wheel balance issue for over a year now and it's getting annoying. It can't be wheels or tires cause I've had several sets of tires and two sets of wheels on the car all which have been balance and checked and the vibration persists. What else could it be...

    Wheel has play when wiggled

Lug nuts were fine. It does make sense cause when u tighten that nut it pulls everything tight to the axle. Also there's Jo cotter pin justa metal sleeve that needs to be kinked where the notch in the nut is. The kink dust line up Witt the notch allowing the nut to loosen.

    Wheel has play when wiggled

This is Probly the elusive cause of my slight steering wheel shimmy, slight brake shimmy, and slight unsteadiness at high speeds! A least I hope so.

    Wheel has play when wiggled

So I've been getting this chirping sound from the rear, especially when turning right. Ive found that the left rear wheel has play when I wiggle it. Kinda scary! What could it be? Wheel bearing? No grinding noise Ball joint?

    Do strut bars work?

After installing the rear strut bar I now hear the sound of birds chirping mainly when I turn. This can't be normal so I'm going to loosen everything and tighten it on the ground to see if that helps.

    Do strut bars work?

I thought it shouldn't be such a tight fit? Anyway, anyone know if your supposed to tighten everything (strut bar) with the car jacked up(unweighted) or on the ground?
