    I was driving my wife's 08 STI stage 2+ and i went WOT to get onto the freeway. when i went into 4th gear i felt a sudden loss of power and immediately let off the gas.     you might need the risers though. the roofline of your car is a bit high and it slopes pretty aggresively.

    the laminar flow assumption is almost definitely wrong. changing it to turbulent you will see much higher heat transfer to the intake charge.
