I'm thinking resurface for now then when I do my motor swap i can put a more reliable flywheel in. I'm just doing daily driving with not much horsepower now
My flywheel has 189k on it so do you think I can get away with resurfacing or should I buy a new flywheel? I have to replace my clutch since it's slipping so I want to get this figured out so I can do it all at once.
Does anyone know where I can find an 06-07 WRX longblock for a decent pricetag? I know they are hard to get a hold of used but I can't afford a $10k motor. All help is appreciated thanks!
I've just took out my seats and door cards and replaced them with the 04 WRX interior so I no longer need these. There are no stains or tears anywhere on this interior I just wanted to go with a different look. email me at brandon@focussem.com if interested
im thinking I'm gonna drive this motor until it dies or the timing belt quits on me... but at the same time... I'm getting a $500 credit for my working motor not a broke one.
I get the block for $2500 and the shop is giving me a $500 credit to give them my 2.0, so $200 for the block. My buddy is gonna drop it in for me but I am doing a new clutch and I am thinking about upgrading to an STI turbo.
