    Battery relocation

You can get sealed lead acid batteries. Optima is one that is suited well for in trunk use and you can mount them in any position, even upside down. There are others as well but I forget the brands. I was thinking of going super capacitors myself but I have a thousand other projects I need to...

    My Apologies!

My apologies for my absence as of late. Life happened! I Think I'm back though and I will devote some time each week to this site but I ask for your patience as I may not be here every day. On another note I can only provide tuning services to OpenSource users since I lost access to...

    Wrx stumbles at wot.

Aaaa fuck it. I just leave it off all the time. It does no good except for emissions and CAT efficiency and the fuel trims are much smoother without. :tard:. If you are catless then turn em off for sure. Your tuner should be able to do this for you. Check your cruising fuel trims now. I bet...

Help! I got my first error code from my car (P0304)

Thank you for reaching out to me. We have already scheduled a tune and I suspect that the tune is much of your issue. As others have explained, bad gas can complicate this so fill up at some other name brand gas station when you have a chance and use the highest octane available. I have seen...

    Wrx stumbles at wot.

The rear O2 definitely affects fuel trims. If you have a Cobb accessport you can monitor A/F correction #3 and A/F learned #3 to see it's contribution. This is why we disable it when we tune. That the harness is damaged the false reading being given is only complicating matters. I am not sure...

And unfortunately I am starting a new job and must focus on that for the time. I don't get vacation for a year :(

I would if I could but it does not go in the snow. We haven't had any snow this year regardless so good for me!

A long chirp or whistle under boost

I had a look. You either have a leak somewhere or your ethanol maps are poorly tuned. The learned fuel trims are very high. Unfortunately to test this we need to switch back to all gasoline so i guess we wait.

A long chirp or whistle under boost

I really couldn't say. I would like to see a log though of both Long and Short fuel trims, Boost pressure, Feedback knock, Fine learned knock, RPM, Load, Throttle and AFR. You can send it to my email if you want. brodix32@gmail.com

Car won't start! 2013 STI Hatch

If you smell gas it could be flooded. If not then you need to troubleshoot for spark. Begin by removing the plugs and see if they are wet. while you have them out you can test the coil using either a spark tester or shove a screw driver up the coil and crank while holding the screw driver about...

EVAP system not ready, will not pass Inspection

Well now that you are a life time member, consider this... You are entitled to free etunes from me. If you want we can retune and turn on the evap codes in the process. The only thing is - this does require you to get the system working.

A long chirp or whistle under boost

when it does this, does the power surge in response to the noise or is it consistent through out a run?

EVAP system not ready, will not pass Inspection

There is no way of knowing what code they turned off. You need to ask them directly or get another tune from someone else and instruct them not to turn off evap codes. Most states allow 2 readiness monitors to be "not ready" and it will pass. Is that not true in TX?

    Engine Painting

+1 for powder coat. At one point I did my entire engine with duplicolor metal cast. It was a really nice finish but it did not last long.

HolyCrapItsFast... Cyberu belongs to someone else now.

Progress has been slow to install all the stuff I want. I did get it back from the body shop quite some time ago (see pics below) and I have been using it to commute daily which is NOT what I wanted to do with this car. I did manage to get the brakes, coilovers and sway bars installed and I am...

    Car refuses to start

I couldn't tell you how many times I have run across this same issue with fuel pumps just giving out like this. Not necessarily on Subaru but in general. I'm glad you got it going though! I also doubt that ethanol had a roll in the pumps demise. I have had a walbro 450lph pump running ethanol...

    The Batmobile_Engage Member Journal

I try to make it as plug and play as possible. Much like the cobb kit I would give you all the hardware need to hook the sensor up to the fuel lines. Do you have any after market fuel lines and rails installed or is it largely stock? This plus fittings and hoses for fuel and boost is typically...

    The Batmobile_Engage Member Journal

This runs me right around $300 to $350 to make and I sell them for around $400 including the display and fuel lines if required. I would have to coordinate with you on the lines because they are custom. I can sell it to you at cost plus shipping. I just want to recoup everything I put in...
