Done that a few times, though not in my Cayenne! Water was too swift and likely the bottom was washing away underneath the tires.

The cayenne is quite capable off-road. I don't remember what the fording depth is, I think 23 inches or so, but the doors are triple sealed to prevent water intrusion. I'm sure he appreciated the dry feet while he waited for the winch cable.

I sucked up water(CAI). Fat puddle through the parking lot, only way in and out -_- Got lucky going in but not out.

Haha I was just thinking that. With he Forrester and BRZ STI offerings, I need to get used to saying "WRX STI"! Not like a lot of people know what the heck an STI is anyway.
