Thanks! Love the e85, worried for winter though so any tips help! Have not been in dyno yet, did get a 13.9 at the track with no launch control. My previous car was a 01 VW jetta but the STi was my dream since 04.

Mk4! I have a mk4 tdi.

What mods does your car have that youre running e85?

Was that a typo at 13.9?

It was just a good ole vr6
Have ID 1000 injectors plus the DW 265lph fuel pump. Other mods- cobb SF intake, boost controller, turbo blanket, and downpipe.
No typo! :/ my 60' was horrible and my launches weren't great either.

Welcome.

E85 can be a bear in the winter but it's definitely doable. As long as the tuner has the tables set correctly, you shouldn't see too much of an issue.

Only time I start to have starting issues is usually in the 0*-20*. It takes a few cranks to get that sucker to fire up. Most was 8 cranking cycles.

I have never had a fail to start, even below zero.

Block heaters take care of the issues if you start having problems. Around 30 bucks for an oem unit.

Thanks!

Yea will be my first winter with E85, colorado has crazy weather last week temperate dropped a little below thirty it took me two cranks to get it started.

If it starts to be an issue I'll invest in the block heaters.

Thanks for the advice!
