Old AP stolen. ? About installing a new one

I have a 07 sti. About a month ago someone broke into my car and stole my AP from my glovebox. my question is, if I buy a new AP will it install on my car without any problems? Or will it not install because my old AP is still married to my ECU? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

You wont be able to install a new one cause you already have the old one "married" to the ecu. And in the land of subarus it is impossible to cheat on your spouse. :lol:

There is a way to do it. I dont recall off the top of my head. Youll have to contact cobb and see what they recommend.
