pads for the track

im looking at geting new brake pads that will be used for only the track. Im looking at getting the Hawk blue 9012. they said there made for the track use but my only problem is im going to put these pads on before I go to the track and going to need to drive with them to the track. Do you think it would be good to drive to the track too or should I get something else?
