Track Monkey
hmm, hadn't thought or heard much about trunk chassis bracing before now.

Yeah, the trunk brace is great. I didn't have the bar, just the cheap-o X and I highly recommend it....unless you're constantly using the trunk pass-through for bulky items. I could've sworn I did a write up in my journal, but can't find it.

Shopping list was basically:
4x bolts that screw into existing holes
2x turnbuckles
2 short lenghts of steel cable
4x cable crimp thingies (i forget the real name)
Assorted metal/nylon washers as deemed necessary.

Bam, project done 30 min later.

Omg i totally forgot about a trunk brace! I did the home-depot "chassis bridge" and it stopped about a million creaks I would get everyday. Cost like $15.:tup::tup:

random chime in.

i wrote a detailed DIY chassis bridge in the how to section. made a huge difference in how it felt around turns

Take pictures of the parts when they come in and when you install them!

Shifter and bushings will make a big difference in feel.
