You got hell of a trip ahead of you!
Also, I need to see some close up shots of that shift knob!!!!! What in the?!?! I just looked through the journal and you had a black shift knob before!!!
How is the Baja?! If it's bone stock, give a one paragraph summary/review of the wrx pickup truck!
It's pretty simple. Disassemble the shift knob, sand off the color (I did this to a WRX knob, not the fancy red STI one), paint your own color in, reassemble and enjoy! I personally like the feel of the stock shift knob. Every time I try to switch I keep going back to it. Must be something wrong with me.

As for the Baja, it's pretty much stock but I've done a lot to fix it and get it running. Previous owner had trashed and neglected it. Shot suspension, no brakes, interior mildew and dirt everywhere, torn upholstery, and leaks up the wazoo. All that and a fresh shortblock / rebuild took me about 6 months to get sorted out right again. The short list of mods is a 1" Lift, Primitive Skidplates all around, Method Wheels (as usual), and some All Terrain Tires.

Where in Maine and NH? I have lots of ties to those parts, but I'm stuck in Texas for the time being
New England Forest Rally is based out of Newry, ME. Stages run as far west as Gorham, NH and as far north as Errol, NH.
