AirManCam+TheShopCT new wheels are on!
I've been kicking around for a while, and I figured that I would make a members journal. I've been searching for an 06 for about a year now, and I finally found the right one at the right price. I wanted a 1 owner stock STI. I finally found it in Mass. I picked it up Thursday June 2nd. It had 32k on the clock when I got it. I was a bit sketchy on the situation, because I didn't want to drive 4.5 hours to check out the car and then buy it, and since Mass doesn't offer in-transit plates I had them take pictures of just about every angle on the car and made sure it was stock. It was super clean so I went ahead and bought it. Then a couple days later they met me half way with the car at the Troy, NY dmv. It looked even better in person, and I couldn't be happier with the transaction. The people at Planet Subaru were awesome to work with, and I would recommend them to anybody! Anyways, back to the car since I picked it up bone stock, I've been adding my touches to it since I got it. So stay tuned, because I've been buying parts like its going out of style

Heres the car the day I got it
Then, I tinted the windows, cleared and painted the headlights, cobb access port and added the suby pigs
This is where I started to get bit by the mod bug..
I broke down and ordered a Perrin EL header, grimmspeed up pipe, with a tial 44mm ewg, and dw 850cc injectors and a walboro fuel pump. I went for a 93 and e85 tune at the shopct. I can't wait!! I just put my gauges and stuff in, heres a couple pics from the install.
My stock turbo e85 dyno graph..the car was soo much fun like that, and 450ft lbs almost instantly was insane.
Pump gas 323/385
Then I put it my RCE Yellows
Then..everything went down hill. I blew up the stock motor on e85 at Etown for STI VS Evo day..Bought a built motor, that shat the bed at 1600 miles. So I'm on my 3rd motor so far so good.

Unfortunately I'm a pro at taking the motors out now..I did this myself in an hour and a half.

I went through my early 20's crisis and almost bought this.
