Since I've had 91' legacy as my first car, I've always been a Subaru fan.
So I bought a new 2002 wrx when it first dropped in the states, modded it with vf34 and tbe with all kinds of sti goodies you can find at the time because it was before sti landed in the states.
long story short, I returned everything back to stock, sold it, then drove my dad's old oldsmobile for about 2 years until I found a used unmolested beautiful AW 05 sti from Sacramento, CA. It was my first manual car, so I stalled quite a few times in the beginning for being a newb. I kept it stock because I couldn't save enough money to do any power mods, so I just spent a few bucks trying to make the car nice and clean.
Finally, after driving it stock for 4 years, I found a great deal on used tbe and new cobb ap2, and I'm more in love with my car. For the maintenance, I had to replace radiatior, radiator hose, AC o-rings, power steering pump, and valve gasket. It has 114k miles now, but still running strong.
