I am thinking about getting an 04 sti, there is 180,000 miles on the car but the motor is blown, I talked the guy down to $4000 and I was just wondering if it would be a good deal on my part

No I don't have any pics but yes I have seen it in person

How is the rest of the car?

It is in fairly good shape, it could use a little tlc but it seems like a solid car, and there was no rust that I could see, also the kid said it has never been in an accident but it has an 06 front end. Is this a common swap?

He said he was just driving it one day n it went, he is the second owner and the people before him told him they put in a brand new ej 20 and it was only at 25,000 miles when it blew on him

Haven't looked into it fully yet but I'd like to try to keep it around $8000-$8500

Well $4,000 isn't bad. Give him $3500 and call it a day.

He won't I tried, he actually wanted 5 but I said it was way to high n offered 3500 then we settled on 4
