power side mirrors and rear view mirror.

i have a 2006 sti ever since ive had my car the power mirrors dont work or the rear mirror i know its because the fuse is blown but every time i put a new one in it blows instantly ive tried every size fuse and it happens to all of them as soon as i start my car and reason for this? help please, thanks

It is an obvious short some where. It needs to be troubleshot. You can try to do this yourself by following the wires from the mirrors to the fuse box but it is an awful lot of work. How old is the car and is it under warranty?

its a 2006 i have only owned it for about a year but i bought it with cash so there is no warranty for it. that does sound like a lot of work but it has to be done sooner or later. lol

I can take a look at the service manual to see if anything jumps out at me. Maybe point you in the right spot to look, but I feel this is a job for a shop. :tup:
