rim problem

Hi.
Ok I am having a problem every rim that I seem to find and like does not have a offset that is correct for what I'm looking for. The rim I am looking for is a 18x8.5 5x114.3 bolt pattern +55mm offset.

Should I be looking for a different offset or is there something else I can do. Im new to all of this.

Thaks

Just keep it in the ballpark. Around +38 is when you need to really start paying attention.
Offset is the hub flange in relation to the wheel centerline. +55 means it's positive 55mm from the center or further outwards.
At an 8.5" wheel, you have plenty of room to play before a concern is needed.
Post up what offsets your looking at and I or someone else can chime in.

Both will work. The 50 will be very close to stock and the 35 will be close to the fender lip, more flush.
If this is your winter setup, I'd recommend the 50 to keep all of the salt and road debris from chipping the sides of the car.
If your goal is to get a wider stance and fit more flush, the 35 will be better.
