Shudder on braking

What bushings could be responsible for a shudder/vibration under braking? I know it could be warped rotors, but I'm reasonably certain that it's not the rotors.

Well it could be the rotors. Most rotors do not get warped per say, they get pad build up. You can usually resolve the issue by braking hard from 60 a few times but not coming to a complete stop. This should remove said build up. If that doesn't work you can remove them and use sand paper to remove the build up and then do your new pad break in procedure again. Also if you recently removed them you could have rust build up on the inner part of the rotor or hub. Make sure you use a wire brush on both surfaces before reinstalling. Well these are the things I have done to resolve this issue.

If it turns out to not be the brakes it would likely be a bad bushing. Look at the lower control arm bushings.
