Plasti dip the wheels

My thing is i am eventually going to buy new wheels for these do not fit the tire size and fitment i want. But i dont know if i should spend a ton of money on powder coating, to go buy new wheels in a few months anyway. So if i can use this as a short term thing that still looks good untill then...it may be worth the $50 ya know. lol. What does everyone think of white OZ Ultraleggarras on a black micha pearl 06??

Better believe brake dust gets on plastidip. I kept the black stockers unwashed for a month and you can definitely tell the brake dust was collecting on there. Maybe with a gloss finish or something over it it wouldnt stick. I have just black and nothing over it. When you go to feel the plastidip it has a sense of being grippy and tries to get emotionally attached to your fingers. :lol:

Lol...yea i think im going to do the pearl white kit that they sell, sop it will be glossy. Il find a way to keap em clean though! But for $50 i cant really go wrong!

sonax? Im yet to find something that lifts brake dust off of the neon colors. never heard of sonax tho
The pearl white looks awesome! I did like 3 coats of white and 3 of pearl with about 2 coats glossifier. made my garbage look great! haha I would like to try it on my wheels at some point too

I bought two bottles of sonax...waiting on arrival. Im def going with the pearl white....you think i should use glossifier as well as the pearl the kit comes with??? How many cans do you think i would need for four wheels?? Just wanna make sure i order enough. lol

if your wheels are black...I would think you need the most cans in white...then maybe 2 pearlizers and one or 2 glossifiers. Since your wheels are black, I would do one can of color per wheel. You might get away with 3 cans of white for all 4 wheels but thicker is better and white over black is the hardest combo. use 4 cans of white... 2 pearl/1 gloss. The gloss is just a protectant. But the pearl is really just a glossifier with pearl in it...it is not opaque at all and comes out clear just like the metalizers/glossifier. You may not want to do gloss though. It does change the color, hue and general look of any color. I like to use it on dark colors but It does jive well with pearl white from my experience.
