Annoying Rattle

I've got an odd question to ask.

I've got this annoying rattle in what feels like the steering column/driver's side of the dash while it's full lock to the left or close to full lock while hitting a bump at parking lot speeds. It also does it when, say like today when I was in my driveway on snow while turning the wheel to do a three point turn. It's obnoxious really. I had read that some of the '04s had less than stellar rack bushings, and I was going to give replacing those a shot. What have I got to lose? The tie rods, ball joints, and sway bar links are all tight so........ Just curious as to your thoughts on it. Thanks.

I had this when I had my sti, Mine sounded like it was a loose component inside the steering wheel like the airbag or something. I did improve it when I replaced the bushing in the front end but it never really went away fully.

I just lived with it.

Yeah....I have been "just living with it" as it only happens once in a while, not while going straight/enjoying my drive.
