Center console wrapping question

So I have seen people swapping out their center consoles for carbon fiber pieces, wrapping them in carbon fiber, plastidipping them. I have NOT seen anyone wrap their center console and bezels in suede! This just came up as I was observing some interior pictures on IWSTI. Is there anyone here that has actually done it, know somebody that has done it, or has some info as to why people don't do it?

I'm thinking about doing this, but I would like some input from my community! :tup:

It's on IWSTI. they want $700.... I only want to do the bezels around HVAC and the vents though, :tup:
