DBA 5000 Series Clicking Noise?

Today we were going around a bend very slowly and the driver's side wheel clicks now. This happens when your not pushing the brakes but only turning the wheel. It seems like the axle, but there is no way that is bad. Anyone ever have this issue after installing the DBA 5000 two piece series rotors?

Also any tricks on how to get them to stop squealing? This only happens at low speeds.

Please keep in mind our STi has only 15,467 miles on it. ;)

We did the break in process, but they still squeal at low speeds when applying the brakes.

Did you change pads? Usually higher performance pads will squeal. It's just a feature. If its really bothering you, you could always just take them out and put them back in again. 15 min job *might* just fix it.

We did change the pads out to the Hawk Racing pads.

After installing new disc rotors &/or brake pads, perform 8 to 10 slow-downs applying moderate pressure from approximately 50 ? 60 Kph without coming to a stop.

2. Make an additional 2 to 3 slow-downs applying heavy pressure from approximately 60 ? 70 Kph without coming to a stop.

3. DO NOT DRAG BRAKES!

4. Allow at least 15 minutes for brake system to cool down.

We did that, but that doesn't help the clicking noise. Also we think it takes a few hundred miles for break in.

I had the clicking issue but can't remember what it was. The break in is really short and does not take a few hundred miles. Just follow those instructions I listed which are from their website and you will be good.

Going to pull the wheel off today and see if the rotor is seated correctly. Don't see how it can't, but just want to make sure.

As for the break in DBA says 180 to 310 miles for break in.

Got the clicking to stop by taking the wheel off and rebedding the rotor on the hub.

Also just got done breaking in the brakes again and letting them cool for 15 minutes.

Will keep everyone informed.

So went out and put about 25 miles on the rotors. Squeals a little bit still when hot, but look at the rotor. You can tell they're not fully broke in yet. All of them look the same.
