Sup guys!!

About me:
I'm just a regular guy, got a degree, got a job, and got my dream car
lol.gif
I'm very new to the whole modding scene so don't be too harsh on me haha I mean my last car was a 1999 Honda Accord LX sedan
frown.gif
I am a Dallas, TX native and have grown up here all my life aside from traveling with my family. I'm actually about to move to Rochester Hills, MI (Changed to Chicago, IL at the last second) since my job is relocating me
eek.gif
.

For you Game of Thrones fans out there I named my build the Jon Snow build since I'm moving so far north from where I was raised LOL

I plan on making the car a daily driver that will be able to be as durable as a rock while having fun trying to tune the engine to the best of my knowledge. I want to use the car both on and off the track.

What the car came with:

  • SPT Short Throw Shifter
  • Vortex Generator
  • All Weather Package
  • Fog Light Kit
  • Clearbra'd front bumper, front portion of the hood, lower portions of fenders
  • RallyArmor mud Flaps
  • Tinted 20% I think?
Build:
Purchased
Installed
Uninstalled
Wishlist

Engine / Exhaust / Tuning:

  • Cobb Accessport
  • Invidia Q300 TI CBE
  • Invidia Catted Downpipe
  • Grimmspeed Electronic Boost Control Solenoid
  • Cobb SF Intake + Box
  • EL Headers but not sure which ones maybe killer b?
  • Protuned by Keith from AWD Tuning

Drivetrain
  • Kartboy Short Throw Shifter with front and rear bushings
  • SPT Short Throw Shifter

Cooling

  • Mishimoto Radiator
  • Mishimoto oil cooler hopefully
  • FMIC (not sure which one)

Suspension / Handling

  • RCE T2'S with Vorshlag Camber Plates
  • Whiteline swaybars 20front 22 back?

Wheels / Tires

  • TE37SL 18x10 + 40 MAG BLUE
  • 275/40/18 Hankook Ventus V12 EVO K110 (Wanted Michelin Super Sports, but due to some random things happening I settled with these)
  • Blizzak LM-60's on stock rims (Uninstalled because it isn't winter huehuehue)

Exterior

  • Blacked out housing for headlights plus painted splitter and removed amber
  • ZOMG I WANT A VARIS KIT

Interior

  • Escort Passport 8500 X50 (Blue Display)
  • Weathertech all weather digifit mats

CAPTAIN'S JOURNAL LOG
07-19-13 Installed Q300TI exhaust and Cobb intake. Planning on putting the downpipe in tomorrow
07-20-13 Installed Invidia catted downpipe, ran into issues where the stock mounting bracket for the uppipe was too small for the new downpipe so I couldn't put the new heat shield on
07-26-13 Installed GrimmSpeed EBCS and got it Protuned at AWDTuning by Keith dyno numbers were 279hp/301torq on a Mustang Dyno and a very very hot day, plus it literally just rained heavily.

04-02-13 Installed RCE T2'S, TE37SL's, and 275/40/18 Hankook Ventus V12 EVO K110 (delayed by a day :/ because the shop didn't have any lifts for my car)

Sweet ride dude, can't wait to see the pics with the new wheels installed.

As far as your upgrade plans on the first page, I'd definitely add injectors/fuel pump to your list when you do your headers...that's what is going to limit you power wise and it certainly makes the power increase much safer. On the FMIC, I'd wait and decide your turbo plans for the car before going that route. If you're going rotated then a FMIC is definitely the way to go but if you decide on a stock location upgrade then a good TMIC can actually be more efficient in most cases. One last thing you should add to your list is a new oil pickup/baffle (and pan if you plan major power increases in the future), Killer B makes the best IMO and it's reasonably priced...that's the next mod for me, whenever Grinder and I have time to get together and throw it in.

Just some opinions I thought I'd throw out there but overall sweet car dude and an awesome build thus far!

funny you mention the pump/injectors lol I'm getting them soon actually.

as for FMIC I wanted it because I wanted to do a rotated build lol

+1 for the pickup/baffle, that's actually what I wanted to do next before the injectors/pump but it's cold as hell

Good stuff and I hear ya on the cold part. Finally warming up here in MD, was able to get out fishing today and actually catch a few...felt good! Sounds like you have a good plan laid out, just make sure you have the money put aside to build the motor when it goes. I'm sure you know that but I always like to put that out there...once you switch out the stock turbo it's only a matter of time before she blows... ;) That's the main reason I put the stop on the engine mods for now, I have the cash to do everything I want including the build but I just am in no rush to have my baby sitting in the shop while the engine is getting built/put in. Maybe next year, we'll see. . .

Random thought, but I'll be changing my downpipe from catted to catless and changing my exhaust as well (Not loud enough for me)
