And forgot to list what's been done, (nothing drastic):

Cobb Stage 1, Cobb cat back exhaust, Cobb Heat Shield, Hotchkis sway bars, Bilstein Coilovers, Upgraded stainless steel brake lines and last but not least, to me the most noticeable upgrade- carbon fiber driveshaft.... :) Short shifter is next, very soon!

Tada and there ya have it

Thanks!

Yeah, I can honestly say the best thing EVER!! I traded-in 2003 sonic yellow WRX (bugeye), my first love....and it's been all over from there.

Welcome from a fellow FL member! Looks great and that is a great mod list to an already great foundation and just curious what made you opt for a drive shaft swap? I've heard of a few things like acceleration and throttle response improvement gains before but never drove one before so did you notice a big difference before and after?

Yeah, curious about the shaft. Thats not usually an early mod, what made you want to do it?

Well, it was called "timing" and knowing the right person... Lucky me, I knew someone who got rid of their 06 and was willing to "donate" parts since they were trying to get theirs back to stock.. I swapped rides several times and everytime I drove it, I noticed the difference.... Now I have it- I'm spolied and used to it but I know how much better is feels over stock. Am very happy to have a friend like that

I have a friend who had a GR in the same situation. But after some research, the driveshafts werent really swappable. :(

I'm jealous.

Well, it did come at a cost- I'm reminded "regularly" that I have his car parts....so he says the car is partly his, lol, and I'm sooo cool with that.
Unfortunately, he regrets getting rid of his, but he had to at the time..

Sooo... after much reading and more reading, I decided to go with Cobb short shifter (also replaced front and rear bushings and a few other bushings).
I had to ask myself, self, why didn't I do this sooner? I just love the way the car sounds/ feels.... I like to drive without the radio and just listen to the car- it's like music to my ears. I'm in love all over again!
